JURA has been awarded the iF DESIGN AWARD 2024, placing it among the recipients of this world-renowned design accolade. The J8 twin took the crown in the ‘Kitchen Appliances’ category, in the discipline ‘Product’. The iF DESIGN AWARD is presented once a year by the world’s oldest independent design organisation, iF International Forum Design GmbH.
The international, independent jury of experts was impressed by the J8 twin and the way in which it harmoniously combines Swiss artistry, subtlety and first-class craftsmanship. Featuring two high-performance grinders, this is the first automatic speciality coffee machine from JURA at home in the compact segment. Its attention to detail is perfectly illustrated by a height-adjustable coffee spout, the chrome elements of the bean container and cup illumination. Another design highlight is the Panorama Coffee Panel, which is an excellent example of the machine’s logical operating concept. The J8 twin holds its own as a sophisticated premium automatic coffee machine, redefining the way in which coffee is enjoyed.
There was a huge number of contenders. With almost 11 000 submissions from 72 countries, the iF DESIGN AWARD 2024 has once again proved to be one of the most famous and most important design competitions in the world.
